Melody’s artwork is both concept and construction. It dwells in the expanse of being painting and relief. She is committed to the visual language of abstract painting and the elements of mixed media. Mel continues to be influenced by the Abstract Expressions of the 20th century; Pollock, deKooning, Kline, and Rothko. They boldly opened the door to her self-expression.
