Amy's pots are hand built from slabs of stoneware clay and fired to 2250 degrees. Matte glazes enhance the surface texture and give a soft feel when they are handled. Her work is inspired by the deep history of functional pottery but made to have a contemporary design. The pots are intended to be used and enjoyed in the everyday traditions of life.
