Colleen Cosgrove

Colleen's journey as an artist began with her introduction to finger-painting in Kindergarten. She attended the College of Visual Arts in St. Paul, branched out into plein air painting in mid-life, and is continually amazed that the more she learns about art, the less she knows. Working both outdoors and in her studio in oils, she create paintings that are an attempt to move beyond and through realism, to a place that depicts the true essence of what she sees with her eye and feels in her heart.
