William Campbell

Bill Campbell has always worked with wood as a hobby. Fifteen years ago he was fascinated by the lathe-turned wood pieces he saw in art museums; ‘how do they do that?’ he asked. He took a lesson, bought a lathe, and has been turning bowls, tops, bottle stoppers, boxes, and vessels ever since. His aims: bring out the beauty of the wood and create a piece that others will use and/or admire.
